Even the government has high hopes in this area with a target of 15% contribution to GDP coming from the Bioeconomy. 40 patents and a few loss-bleeding years later, MGRC is beginning to see signs of profitability. The need to achieve greater investor understanding of the field of genetics is probably manifested in its poor share price performance.
