Workers Day - Gifts or Rights?

Yesterday, at the 2018 Workers Day rally, caretaker Prime Minister said the government would provide a RM3 million special grant to the MTUC. In his speech he also announced a raft of what the media called “gifts” for the Malaysian workforce, including a review of the minimum wage. Today we look at the state of the worker’s movement in Malaysia.
