On Pressing Matters today, in line with International Anti-Corruption Day we take a look at the important role the media plays as a watchdog, to shine a light on corrupt practices. To do that, we speak to Gayathry Venkiteswaran, Assistant Professor of Media and Communications at the University of Nottingham, about the repositioning of the Malaysian media post-GE14, laws that impede good journalism, and the prospective Malaysian Media Council.
