The government has announced that a carbon tax will not be introduced in Budget 2025. However, Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz says Putrajaya is considering implementing the tax in the future and is currently studying the rollout mechanism.
