US equity markets took another tumble correcting by more than 3% as Covid 19 fears took hold as the Centre for Disease Control warned of an outbreak in the US. Jeffrey Halley, Senior Market Analyst, Asia Pacific at OANDA however put things into perspective that the decline was actually small although warning that a V-shaped recovery that was widely anticipated may not materialise. He also gave his views on Gold which remains his safe haven asset pick while oil will see downward pressure even if Opec cuts production.
