US added about 288,000 jobs in April, pushing unemployment down to 6.3% but participation rate is fallen further to 62.8%, it's lowest level since March 1978. In the meantime the FOMC has also cut bond-buying by another $10b/month to $45b in an indication that the Fed may be more confident about the economy.
