After a long drawn out legal battle, the Malaysian government finally recognised 3 stateless children as citizens of the country. The decision came just before their cases were to be heard by the Federal Court, effectively resolving their cases. While it’s a happy ending for the children and families involved, what of the many other children facing the same predicament?
