4. Politicians are stoking uproar over a Chinese vernacular school receiving a donation from an alcohol brewery, going against guidelines set by the Education Ministry. Dr Kua Kia Soong, former principal of New Era College shares his thoughts on the controversy, and highlights the issue of unequal allocation given to such schools.

3. A Forbes Advisor report has ranked Kuala Lumpur as the 5th riskiest city to travel to in Southeast Asia, and has prompted the Home Ministry to review the metrics used in the report. Hannah Pearson, founder of Pear Anderson, a travel market research company, shares her thoughts on the list and tells us how other Southeast Asian countries have responded.

A proposed constitutional amendment aims to place Orang Asli matters under the jurisdiction of both the federal and state governments, but groups like the Kelantan Orang Asli Villages Network are not satisfied with the engagement sessions conducted so far. Colin Nicholas, Coordinator at the Centre for Orang Asli Concerns weighs in.
