Several people linked to the Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings have been arrested, including the firm’s CEO Datuk Nasiruddin Mohd Ali and his wife. This is following probes into the organisation last week, when police rescued over 400 children aged between one and 17, from 20 care homes in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. There have been allegations that the children had been abused, exploited and sexually assaulted. We talk about the case with Haezreena Begum Abdul Hamid, criminologist and the deputy dean of the Law Faculty at Universiti Malaya.

· A new study has revealed that mobile phones don't cause brain cancer! Good news, seeing as most of us are dependent on our phones these days. We get some insights from Emeritus Professor Dr Ng Kwan Hoong, a medical physicist and honorary professor with University of Malaya.

· Bukit Dinding in Wangsa Maju, KL is in danger of development after DBKL had issued a development order for a project to build two 26-storey condominiums at the site. We speak to Sri Utami Dewi, the Secretary of the Bukit Dinding Taskforce, of Section 5 Wangsa Maju.

· A series of coordinated pager explosions in Lebanon leave 3,000 injured and at least 11 killed. Dr Ferooze Ali, a senior fellow at the Asia Middle East Center for Research and Dialogue weighs in on this incident.

· The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has proposed that immigration officers not have their mobile phones with them while on duty.
