The Malaysian Insider drew over a million unique visitors per month but found it couldn't sustain its RM10 million losses. It had to shut down as a result. The options Malaysians are left with aren't much and good news portals require a fee. And the majority of Malaysians aren't exactly keen on parting with their money for reading news stories.
