In the news today, it was reported that UKM’s Family, Women and Community Law lecturer Prof Datuk Noor Aziah Mohd Awal said that: “Television stations must be aware and sensitive to people in the country and not to air programmes in which its contents were against the local culture”. But does the media influence the way people behave? Do you stop your kids from watching certain programmes, and why?
