Last Friday, The Star reported that political parties will be given 10 minutes of airtime each to present their manifestos, which will be pre-recorded and must abide to a set of terms and conditions. It is said that the manifestos presented cannot discredit or defame anyone, relate to matters on the country’s security, insult the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, belittle humans rights or touch on people’s sensitivities.
Pakatan Rakyat launched their manifesto just this February 25th, while Barisan Nasional is set to launch theirs after parliament is dissolved. What would you like to know about these manifestos and do you think 10 minutes is sufficient time for political parties to share their manifestos?
