The government announced recently that all fast-food and similar concept restaurants are to ban foreigners from working at fast-food outlets, to give Malaysians a chance to work there. The move provides opportunities to Malaysian youths, especially school leavers and university students. But are Malaysians too pampered, opting for jobs that meet their demands rather than working to earn a living? We asked listeners today on Talkback Thursday.
