What Will Happen To Malaysia’s Refugee Community Without UNHCR?

We look at the proposal for the UNHCR office in Malaysia to be closed. First, we examine the role that the UNHCR has always had when it comes to the management and protection of refugees in our country, and how developments like TRIS have factored into this. Then later, what will the Malaysian government need to have in place to make this work?
