Rugby is not exactly a game that all Malaysians are familiar with. It’s possible that the closest we’ve paid attention to anything rugby is the couple of hours we spent watching the movie Invictus, where first term South African President, Nelson Mandela, used the game to unite the then apartheid-torn country.
But did you know Malaysia has an annual rugby sevens tournament and is the longest-running tournament in Asia? The Jonah Jones Rugby Sevens tournament is now in its 50th year and it seems only right that we get the people involved to tell us more.
