Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah expressed disappointment with PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang's remarks on the monarchy after the Federal Court struck down several provisions in a Kelantan shariah criminal enactment. In his post, Hadi claims the Constitution has colonial roots meant to weaken Islam.
