Business and NGO Collaborative Opportunities with the GTP

Working separately but synonymously with GTP’s efforts in raising living standards of low income households, are NGOs, community services organisations and the private sector. Many NGOs fight the war against poverty through numerous programmes; some of them get the support they need but some, unfortunately, don’t.

Those in the private sector have made it a mandate, almost, to plan and execute CSR initiatives. With their work parallel to what the GTP has outlined as well, it makes absolute sense to have these different groups collaborate with one another to achieve their shared objectives. But how do they correlate and complement each other? Has the GTP  put in place the necessary measures to encourage such collaborations?
