Stevie’s Scary ‘Carrie’ (1974)

Two movies based on the Stephen King novel ‘Carrie’ and the novel itself become the seat for our resident literary critic’s shrieks and screams as he takes us through the blood-and-gore of the often-banned American fiction. Thank goodness it’s radio: you don’t have to see the splashes of red. But then again, because it’s radio, your imagination might be better at creating the butchering and carnage.
