Poring over Poe’s Novel

 Poe’s 'The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket' is his only complete novel. While it starts like many seafaring adventure tales, critics say it takes a turn. Poe himself declared it “a very silly book” and our resident critic will attempt to justify why it deserves to be read as part of 'the fifty books in fifty weeks'.
