Umapagan Ampikaipakan takes us to the near future with Isaac Asimov’s sci-fi work ‘I, Robot’. When alive the biochemist professor was associated with Boston University; but he was better known as one of the ‘Big Three’ sci-fi writers (together with Robert A Heinlein and Arthur C Clarke). His literary and science legacies are so significant and important that his name has christened an asteroid, a crater on Mars, a school and a literary award. In this show, his contribution to literature is discussed through his novel ‘I, Robot’.
