Literary reviewer Umapagan Ampikaipakan caught up with author Shamini Flint at last year's Singapore Writers Festival and got the goss' on her latest, 'The Undone Years.'
The novel is set against a backdrop of the fall of Singapore, the communist insurgency and the eventual Japanese surrender and is described as a very human story of love and betrayal in a time of war.
