The second George Town Literary Festival was held at the end of November and featured a whole array of writers and poets, among them Belgium's political commentator David Van Reybrouck and writer Tan Twan Eng.
Literary reviewer Umapagan Ampikaipakan catches up with author and festival curator Bernice Chauly to discuss the festival's highlights and also to address some criticism aimed at the festival, which claimed local Penang talent were snubbed during the three-day event.
