This month, BFM Bookclub does things a little differently - dubbed the Awards Show, our resident literary reviewer Umapagan Ampikaipakan will be focusing on the works of two award-winning authors, Howard Jacobson and Mario Vargas Llosa.
Booker-prize winner Howard Jacobson is best known for writing comic novels that often revolve around the dilemmas of British Jewish characters, while Nobel-laureate Vargas Llosa is considered one of Latin America's most significant novelists and essayists.
BFM's resident bookworm will dissect and discuss Jacobson's The Finkler Question and Vargas Llosa's The Feast of the Goat, among others.
