The award-winning international storyteller who is also the founder of 10-year-old MoonShadow Stories tells why the oral tradition must be kept alive. While she participates in prominent urban festivals she also spends time with indigenous peoples, marginalized groups and less empowered genders to hear their stories and then retell them. Her storytelling journey began on her grandfather's lap drinking the tales he told her.
