Globally nearly 1 in 3 consumer have been victimised by fraud in the past 5 years - ranging from unauthorised activity on three types of payment cards. Debit, credit and prepaid. Bringing it closer to home, a Malaysia-based credit card fraud ring was broken by the Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3), which saw the arrest of 105 individuals from Malaysia and Europe. With the growing increase in credit card fraud, it is imperative that organisation now adopt a complex issuance system that has the highest multi layered security standards.
