Of late, cyber threats such as ransomware attacks are becoming rampant both in public and corporate sectors in Malaysia. In fact, we’re ranked 12th in the Asia Pacific and Japan region in terms of ransomware attacks according to Symantec. In 2015, there was almost 14 cases of ransomware attacks per day in Malaysia.
