Having work-life balance has often been a nagging problem around the most countries in South East Asia and many employees continue to be available and reachable outside office hours. In fact, majority continue to work for longer hours and in Singapore, they’re frequently labelled as an “unhappy” nation. While email has greatly improved communications, it is no longer used in the carefree manner as it was in the early days. In fact, it’s not being perceived as disruptive.
