The lemons we’re talking about here are defective products and the Lemon Law has been put in place in countries such as the United States, Australia and Singapore to provide compensation for purchasers of products that fail to meet standards of quality and performance. In Malaysia the Lemon Law is not implemented, although there are avenues for consumers to seek redress. What are the benefits of the Lemon Law and do we need it?
