The use of social media in politics has brought dramatic change to the way election campaigns are run and how Malaysians - if not, the world - interact with elected officials, candidates and parties. Not only do tools and platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube provide alternative ways to spread content; they also allow political parties and candidates to listen, segment, connect and engage with potential voters.
