Game-based learning: too good to be true?

Most Asian kids are brought up to think that games are a distraction, and only school books and homework will propel us forward. But is fun and play really such a bad thing? Psychology and brain research show that those Nintendo and Mario games may not have been a waste of time after all. We discuss the merits of game-based learning and whether it can be used to transform workplace learning into a significant, enjoyable experience.
