Marisa Shahrir is the owner of SKN Architecture. Marisa has won many awards including first prize for CENFAD [Center for Advanced Design] Fashion Design Competition in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in year 2000. Apart from being highly involved in the design industry, Marisa has also facilitated in various NGO workshops promoting environmental awareness such as Malaysian Nature Society [MNS] and Yayasan Anak Warisan Alam [YAWA] both based in Malaysia. She volunteered in SEATRU [Sea Turtle  Research Unit] Malaysia to assist in the scientific monitoring of turtle migration along the east coast of Malaysia which is part of the Marine Biology Group under Malaysian Nature Nature Society [MNS]. We spoke to Marisa on what tickles her inspiration.
