Business behind World Halal Week

If you’ve seen or heard about World Halal Week, that’s what Shapers Malaysia does. Set up by Mohd Shukri Abdullah, Shapers aims to focus on producing promotional activities where he tapped into the Halal industry and founded Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) in 2004 and HALFEST in 2011. Last year, MIHAS 2013 recorded the total sales for both income buying mission programme and the 4-day exhibition to RM798 million.
