Inspired by After You’s Shibuya Honey Toast in Bangkok, Jolyn Tan wanted to share this gem to Malaysians. The initial idea was to franchise but to take matters into their own hands, Jolyn began their own R&D and started Miru Dessert Cafe with a twist of local flavours such as Pandan Coconut into the honey toast. However, will a dessert parlour business be sustainable? Jolyn shares her plans for expansion.
