Going Global: Laavanya Luxury Ayurveda

Laavanya Luxury Ayurveda is a store which sells Ayurvedic Premium Skin Care Products. It is a local initiative from Kathmandu which products are based on the ancient Ayurvedic system of beauty. Following the prescriptions and formulations from the ancient Ayurvedic texts, they combine the richness of Ayurveda with the sensibilities of the contemporary, discriminating consumer to provide a luxurious experience. Its products are manufactured using herbs and essential oils derived from the abundant natural resources the Himalayas has to offer and have been used for centuries by the local people for healing and spiritual practices. Lavanya products are available in Kathmandu, Nepal and in San Francisco, USA. We speak to the founder,  Shweta Upadhaya on how she plans to continuing this tradition.
