Going Global: Laurastar (Châtel-St-Denis, Switzerland)

Ironing – probably the last thing on everybody’s to do list but with Laurastar, everyone will see ironing in a totally different light. The Laurastar group, whose headquarters are in Châtel-St-Denis, Switzerland; was founded in 1980 with branches in Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. Their business is in ironing systems, steam irons and ironing accessories. Over the years, their array of irons are exported to over 40 countries with more than 2.2 million products sold worldwide and 25% of Swiss households own a Laurastar product.  We speak to the co-founder of Laurastar Group, Pierre Clement on venturing into Malaysia as well as his passion for his business, the company’s achievements and future goals.
