In the last few decades, rechargeable batteries have made only moderate improvements in terms of higher capacity and smaller size. Compared with the vast advancements in areas such as microelectronics, the lack of progress in battery technology is apparent. However, there are companies that look into advanced battery technology for industrial applications and are involved in its innovation and distribution. One such company is Universal Power Group also known as UPG. We spoke to the CEO, Ian Edmonds on his thoughts about the distribution business in Dallas Texas.
