Plain Language Solutions started out of the Global Financial Crisis of 2007 - 2009. Geoff Webb, an entrepreneur from New Zealand had been in the business of producing operation manuals for companies in Malaysia for 20 years. Over the years, Webb noticed the declining trend of English Standard in the country. Despite the economic crisis, he realised that if Malaysia was to prosper in the international market, the need for English would be even more crucial. With that, he identified a business opportunity.
