The idea of Cafe Slurp was first mooted after the Japan Tsunami incident in 2011 when Rechung graduated from University of Tokyo. The dream to set up your own cafe is common among many young entrepreneurs, but Cafe Slurp is aiming to present a twist by fusioning East-meets-West concept such as Murtabak Maggi Burger, Tomyam Omu Rice and Sambal Pasta. They are also retaining the Japanese influence with their signature Omuraisu dish. Will this concept set new cafe trends?
