Located just around the corner from Rothman’s roundabout, Appu Uncle Curry House is a South Indian restaurant family-run business; founded by brothers Arvin and Ravin Rengaraju. Learning from their grandfather’s trade, who used to operate a banana leaf restaurant for more than 20 years back in Temerloh, Pahang; the brothers named the restaurant after him. The mouth watering curry fish head is made fresh when there is an order, “that way the fish stays fresh” as they proudly say. All curries are served with hot banana leaf rice with a variety of deep fried meats to boot.
