Originally from Ipoh, Maria's Steakcafe was founded by a husband-&-wife team 15 years ago, only because they wanted to share their passion and zest for food with everyone else. Upon graduating as an actuarist and working in an insurance company for 3 years, Angeline Tan, daughter of the founders took on the responsibility to carry out her late father's legacy by rebranding their steaks as a go-to steak cafes to stand ahead of competition.
