Making Robots More Human

David Hanson, founder of Hanson Robotics makes extremely life-like robots that can show a full range of facial expressions and emotions. David previously worked at Imagineers at Disney but he aspired to create machines that can learn creativity, empathy and compassion alongside with artificial intelligence. We speak to him on whether we have understood how human brain works and why it’s necessary to create human-like robots.
