We all know about the Erykah Badu concert that never happened in KL. If there are any positives that came out of that fiasco it would be Singaporean funk quartet LAB. Being big fans of the neo-soul songstress, Tim and Michaela from LAB went around the region to catch Erykah's concert and went home brimming with ideas. The quartet of well-learned musicians honed their skills to produce pockets of groove, adding vibrant colours to the Singaporean music scene. You gotta listen to believe.
