For the past decade, a pair of skeletons was dubbed the Lovers of Modena because they were buried hand-in-hand. The skeletons were thought to be a man and a woman, but now, a new technique found that they belonged to two men. So, lovers no more?
Correction: The skeletons are from the 5th to 6th century, meaning they are between 1,400 and 1,500 years old, and not 6,000 years old as introduced.
