The 11th Malaysia Plan, the last phase of Malaysia's five-year development planning before the nation's stated aspiration of becoming a developed and high income nation by 2020, is expected to be tabled in Parliament this June. We find out more from two of the speakers at the symposium, Veronica Retnam, coordinator of the Women's Desk of Parti Socialis Malaysia, and Parameiswary Elumalai, a coordinator with JERIT (Jaringan Orang Tertindas).
