Responding to Typhoon Haiyan

It has been just over 2 weeks since Typhoon Haiyan, known as Yolanda, hit the Philippines. Said to be the deadliest natural disaster in the country's history, and one of the most powerful typhoons ever recorded. Authorities say the number killed in the disaster has risen to more than 5, 000 and with many still missing. We speak to three individuals who are each spearheading separate efforts to provide aid and relief to the Philippines: Wivina Belmonte, UNICEF Malaysia Representative, Hariyati Abdul Majid, Exco Member of MERCY Malaysia, and Karen Jolly, who organized the Food for the Philippines programme here in Malaysia.
