The bombing of a night spot in Puchong last month marks a watershed in Daesh's influence in Malaysia. It is the terrorist group's first successful attack on Malaysian soil. According to multiple reports over the past two years, the Malaysian police had arrested more than 160 people suspected of having ties to Daesh.
