Diabetes and COVID-19

The death toll from COVID-19 continues to rise every day, especially as the Delta variant rips through vulnerable countries. In Malaysia, seven in 10 people who succumbed to COVID-19 had diabetes. What is the link between diabetes and COVID-19?
