On Thursday, the 19th of April, the good folks over at Lit Books played host to our first ever Bookmark Live event where we had quite a vibrant discussion about Malaysian literature. Or rather, we asked this seemingly simple question. If you had to recommend a book… a Malaysian book… that best spoke to how you felt about this country, what would that book be?
