The Indian Swing Vote

Charles Santiago, former Klang MP

The Indian Swing Vote

Among the three main ethnic groups in Malaysia, the Indian community is, arguably, often left out of the political narrative and from the country's governance, with a lot of programmes and policies not adequately addressing the deep-rooted issues faced by the Indians. The community is not insignificant in the numbers they can bring to the ballots, especially in close races, nor are they to be overlooked in terms of how they will likely shape the outcome of tonight's polls. Charles Santiago, former MP for Klang, joins us to discuss.
