Malaysians woke up to a hung Parliament for the first time in the history of our elections. As many analysts predicted, no coalition won an outright majority of seats in Parliament to form a government. Should we be anxious about the fact we don’t yet have a government, or is there a silver lining amidst all the uncertainty? Political scientist Dr. Wong Chin Huat makes the case for optimism in coalition politics.
